I FINALLY GET TO GO!!!!!

After the long, arduous months of waiting, I got my visa in the mail TODAY!!!! (Dancing around the room as I write this) I will soon be home.

Praise God! We are so happy for you! When will you be able to leave? We just got word from David Ford that they have approved us to leave for Peru earlier than originally planned. We are very excited because they are making an exception that they normally wouldn't make! Basically, we will leave 6 weeks after the baby is born (due date is Jan 6th). Be sure to let us know when you fly out! We are praying for you!

Congratulations, John! I'm headed out on the 15th to Rio, then on to Campinas for about a week to do langauge testing/orientation and documentation for my carteira de identidade, then back to Rio (in time for my home church!).

yay!!! I have wondered when you would get to come pretty much every day. I was always wanting to ask, but I knew you'd post it when you found out. Anyway, congratulations! I've been here 7 months and just can't imagine if I were still in the States. God's timing is perfect. Good luck with all the packing, etc. Praying for you!!
